Hi everyone and welcome to my page! I am currently a graduate student at the University of Southern California pursuing a masters in Specialized Journalism with an emphasis in sports broadcasting. I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia Class of 2020 and received a BA in Journalism. My goal is to enter the field of sports journalism. To further that ambition, I obtained a minor in Sport Management and earned the Sports Media Certificate. Seeking adventure with a shot of adrenaline is in my DNA, so ask me to travel the world with you and I’m there. Then we’ll search for a cliff to jump off of or a plane to jump out of.
I was born and raised in Manhattan Beach, California and decided to move all the way across the country to go to college. You may be thinking, why did I do that? I grew up in a southern household with my mom from Georgia and my dad from North Carolina. I thought college was the time for me to try something new and take a leap, so why not move all the way across the country! UGA had it all…academics, SEC D1 sports, beautiful campus, great college town, greek life, and of course big time football.
In addition, my love for sports is endless. I grew up playing everything from volleyball, to softball, to basketball, to soccer, and have always been surrounded by family who loved nothing more than going to a Dodger game on a pretty afternoon. What better way to continue my passion for sports and journalism than pursuing a career in the sports broadcasting industry.
